Some of us at the shed make our own projects, but we are also proud to participate in community projects too – restoring village features, such as making a large noticeboard for a church in East Boldon and helping maintain parks and green spaces, and building planters and seating areas for schools and community centers.

The club has in the past attracted older men, because we started off as Men In Sheds for over 50’s but have now sought to become more inclusive and now actively seek to attract new members of all genders over 40. Whatever our activities, the essence of workshop is not only the building, but the connections and relationships that are forged between our members.
